ELECTRIC VEHICLE,FUTURE IN INDIA ?

ELECTRIC VEHICLE ALSO KNOWN AS EV WORK ON AN ELECTRIC PROPULSION MOTOR. INDIA BEING A VAST MARKET FOR AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRIES WHERE A BRAND MAY SUCCEED LIKE THE ODDS OF HYUNDAI AND MAY FAIL LIKE GENERAL MOTORS.


There were 41 motor vehicles (excluding motorbikes) per 1000 people in India three years back which is roughly equal to 50 million. Now it is estimated that there are 60-70 million motor vehicles. that’s too much of carbon emission in a city like New Delhi or Mumbai, air pollution is a problem due to vehicles. Even after the the BS6 norms for the emissions an excessive amount of toxic gases is still emitted. In this lieu, Car manufacturers are starting to roll out EV’s. The first EV that was launched in India was Mahindra e2o in 2013 which was government subsidized but still wasn’t a game changer.Coming to 2020 almost every car manufacturer has a EV either in production or in Pre-launch status, brands like AUDI,MERCEDES BENZ AND JAGUAR which are particularly known for their luxury vehicle are on the verge of launching their EV’s in India.The model or the trend for EV’s started with the success of TESLA MOTORS.A brand which hasn’t even entered the Indian market showcased the hype of ELECTRIC VEHICLES. People generally tend to misjudge the power of ELECTRIC VEHICLES.Electric VEHICLES have a loads amount of power,great driving quality and what not. In the year 2020 the future of ELECTRIC PROPULSION MOTOR driven cars have a bright future, just the INDIAN consumers need to have faith in the cars and cars manufacturers to set up more charging stations like gas stations do.
